Regardless of general similarity of parameters, capabilities, and partially the appearance, there one substantial difference between Samsung 305T and Dell 3007WFP: while the first monitor utilizes S-PVA matrix by Samsung, the second one employs S-IPS matrix by LG.Philips LCD.
Strange as it may seen the differences turned out to be almost unnoticeable. And vice verse, since a bit wider viewing angles are considered to be the traditional advantage of S-IPS technology as compared to *VA matrice, I can’t say the difference was that big. In this term S-PVA matrices improved a bit than previous PVA version so practicalwise the majority of people won’t be able to tell the difference between S-PVA and S-IPS.
